A unique Festival that brings together the greatest artists In just 10 years, the Carcassonne Festival has become one of the 10 biggest French festivals* and has become the cultural event of reference for the whole of the great south. A Festival that is constantly evolving, growing from year to year both in terms of its ambitious programming, its stages, and its notoriety which now goes beyond the borders of France. Every summer, the Carcassonne Festival welcomes more than 200,000 spectators from France and abroad. A Festival that offers an exceptional place and setting, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: The medieval city and its ancient theater where every evening, some 3,000 privileged people experience real moments of emotion and sharing.
